Where have I been....

It always seems like a month goes by before I post anything. I really need to keep up on things, how else do you all (all 4 of my followers!!LOL!) know how to pray for us. Goodness gracious........where even to start:

This whirlwind started in June. Luke was in China for about 10 days, new missionaries from Hong Kong decided to move down to Taitung to help us out, and they will stay thru furlough.....WHAT  AN ANSWER TO PRAYER!!!!
Then the first week of July came. We had 4 wonderful people from the USA come and do VBS for us. It was awesome!!! I felt bad that I was running everywhere and really hardly saw them, but I can see that God had things all under control.....like I should ever question that?!! We averaged 20 kids, and had 7 saved!!! 5 of the kids were from disadvantaged families that our association works with, so we were so excited!!!

THEN it happened..........families to adopt started pouring in....LOL!! the afternoon of the 5th (the last day of VBS) two families and a couple from the Archibald Project came to Taitung. Then the 7th another family came. Paperwork for some have snags.......always have to find something that makes you totally lean on the Lord!!

The American came out of me during paperwork issues, and issue that was not our fault (misprint by the courts no one caught) and they were not seeing the urgency in getting it fixed. So after giving them enough time, I went to the court and said, "hey, I having nothing to do (ok, well I DID but still) so you know what, I will wait til the clerk comes and gets it done." Well, they tried to say it would be a long time, but again, "no problem, I can wait." Then explained to them the issues and embarrassement it is causing the courts..............lo and behold, the paperwork was done in 20min!! lol! I get dizzy just thinking about all that..............but again.....GOD IS IN CONTROL AND HE SHOWED HIMSELF IN EACH SITUATION!!!

Birth mom meetings, rescheduling flights, well....I could bore you (LOL!) with the details, but let's just say.......after the last family left here, my muscles just relaxed!!! Of course, the AIT needs one more paperwork. Thanks to Wuli and Alexia and a wonderful lawyer, they drive 3hours......yes 3 hours!!! to find the mom who couldn't get off of work to sign a paper needed.WHEW!!!

Then we had, well, no we didn't. I saw the last family off, packed my bags and headed to a wonderful time at youth camp. Thank the Lord it was here in Taitung!! Saw missionaries that I normally only see once a year! saw kids that have grown up and saw the teens, now college students at one of our Taitung churches show that the seeds that were planted have grown into beautiful flowers. The young adults did great with games and making sure all ran smoothly. Seeing how they worked together and have grown in the Lord is just awesome!!! gives one hope ya know!!!

I was able to teach Worth Waiting For to the youth camp. Shock is the word used to describe the reaction. They as well as the adults never knew all the issues in Taiwan. We often use latest news related to young people and issues, most will never hear the news or read it, so a shocker. I am sooooo thankful for the opportunity to teach them. Praying hard many were affected!

This coming week I teach to a new group, only this time from a rich area. So this will definetly be news to these kids. My prayer is that I can teach something similar to Christian women in China. I have been burdened with that lately. We have contacts in Hong Kong and in China, so please pray that God moves and something can happen. Wouldn't that be awesome!!!

Well, this is turning into a book. I really need to make more short posts instead of once  a month novel posts!!LOL! I will try............hope you followed me all the way to this point:-)

Hi Deana, this is Yuyin Wang. I am not sure if you remember me. We met on Chinesehomeschooler yahoo group. I helped you translate your document for the school board, and a brochure for Morning Light ministry.
Even though for years we didn't contact each other, I still thought about you from time to time. The reason I want to get in touch with you is this: my dad just passed away last month. My brother decided that the monetary gift received for the funeral will be donated to charity. (btw, my family are not believers, though) When we discussed about which organization to give, you came to my mind. But I've lost your email address. So I searched on the web. This blog is the only thing I can find. I am sorry to contact you in this way. Would you please email me so that I can talk to you about the details? I guess you don't have my email addres either. Here it is:
